• Welcome

    I'm so excited you made it to my blog! This is where we can truly get to know each other better. I'm a writer by nature and sometimes I think the best way to get to know someone is through their words. Words can connect, move, and inspire people. They are very similar to photographs in that way. So wander around and get to know me better! I hope I can inspire you - just as each one of my clients has inspired me.

Abby rocked it! {Tallahassee Wedding Photography}

I was so excited when Abby asked me to do a rock the dress session for her. I can’t tell you how much I love rock the dress sessions! Brides (and couples!) are always so much more at ease because, well, the stressful part is over. Rock the dress sessions allow for some great one-on-one time with the bride and she’s usually willing to let lose a little. Throw caution to the wind. And sometimes get a tad dirty! I think they are a great idea for any bride (and I love it when the groom wants to join in the fun)! Besides . . . who doesn’t want to put their gorgeous dress back on just for the heck of it?!?

Now on to Abby. I can’t even begin to tell you what a great time I had with Abby at her rock the dress session! It was a beautiful day, the dress was gorgeous, and Abby was, well, stunning. Abby told me she wasn’t very good at posing and really needed some guidance on what she should do. LIAR! She was amazing! I barely had to direct her at all. And she definitely showed some A.T.T.I.T.U.D.E.! I loved it. And I loved that she was willing to walk down long dusty roads and crawl into the brush for some of these shots. I think her adventurous spirit paid off – because I love her photos!

I just love this one!

Isn’t she gorgeous?!? Abby is a natural beauty.

Lovin’ the attitude here.

Look at that bling! Way to go Jason!!  🙂

Thank you Abby for for all of the great laughs!!

Cathy Williams - Great photos! If I ever get remarried, I know who is going to be my photographer! Hey, I have an idea for you. The photo where the bride is standing in the road/field. Her flowers are behind her back. She is looking away(6th one down). Can you do it in black and white and make the flowers yellow. I think that would look so awesome!

Also the one with the shoes and the bricks. I think that would good as a black and white too.

Just curious.

Ashley - Cathy – I have done some of these in black and white for the client, but I prefer the color!

Abby - Ashley, these turned out SOO GREAT!! I LOVE the close-up shot and I think Jason will agree 🙂 Thank you so much for a wonderful time on this shoot. I really had a blast. I would recommend all girls do this after the wedding. It’s so much more relaxed than the wedding day and I am so excited about having a few more shots of me “rockin’ the dress!”

Also, I agree with you… I’m really liking the color photos here.

mom - I love all of these, but would love to see some in sepia tones with the yellow flowers still in color. Terrific. You must be related to me, yea!! Love you.
