• Welcome

I'm so excited you made it to my blog! This is where we can truly get to know each other better. I'm a writer by nature and sometimes I think the best way to get to know someone is through their words. Words can connect, move, and inspire people. They are very similar to photographs in that way. So wander around and get to know me better! I hope I can inspire you - just as each one of my clients has inspired me.

Aileen and Jordan | Tallahassee Backyard Wedding Photographer

I am so, so happy that I had the opportunity to meet this wonderful couple. Aileen and Jordan’s love for each other is apparent to everyone around them and when Aileen laughs you can’t help but smile because it’s so infectious! How Jordan waited 10 years to propose is beyond me.;-)

Aileen and Jordan had a non-traditional wedding in the backyard where Aileen grew up. Aileen’s dad officiated as their family and friends surrounded them, and after the ceremony they followed the theme of the day by having a very non-traditional breaking of the glass.:-) Then everyone enjoyed cocktails and delicious food catered by Black Fig.

Aileen – I made sure to give you a lot of black and whites! Because in your own words “I love the classic look of black and white – plus, doesn’t everyone look better in black and white??” Enjoy!:-)

That little ring attached to Aileen’s necklace? It was Jordan’s baby ring. His mom saved it and gave it to Aileen shortly before the wedding.

The breaking of the Red Solo Cup.:-)

I don’t always post a lot of family photos, but I loved all of these of Aileen and Jordan with their parents. There was so much happiness!

Thank you Aileen and Jordan for a truly remarkable day!

I love, love, love this couple! And it made me so happy to photograph their wedding, especially since they were married in Savannah, Georgia, which is where me and my husband got married! Oh, and I would love to do an anniversary session with you guys back in Savannah.;-)

Burgess Family | Tallahassee Family Photographer

I just love this family! I have known Betsy and Gavin for 12 years and I’ve loved watching them grow their relationship from friends, to signifiant others, to husband and wife, and finally to parents. And they are amazing parents! I am always in awe of them because they have such busy lives with work and three children (including twin BOYS!), yet they are always on top of things. I mean, check out Betsy as Super-Mom below as she manages all three kids!

Thank you for trusting me with your family memories!
