• Welcome

I'm so excited you made it to my blog! This is where we can truly get to know each other better. I'm a writer by nature and sometimes I think the best way to get to know someone is through their words. Words can connect, move, and inspire people. They are very similar to photographs in that way. So wander around and get to know me better! I hope I can inspire you - just as each one of my clients has inspired me.

Krista | North Florida Maternity Photographer

I love, love, LOVE this session! It makes me so happy when a past bride tells me she is starting a family…and then I get to capture moments like this. Krista was a stunning mama-to-be!!! And it makes my heart happy to say that Krista and Paul welcomed Miss Adelaine James to the world a little over a week ago!!! I can’t wait to meet that sweet girl in Nashville this week for her newborn session!

Danielle and Chris | Jacksonville Wedding Photographer

Danielle and Chris said their vows under a fabric draped pergola on a beautiful December day (it was in the 70’s!) as the sun set. It was perfect!

When I asked Danielle what her vision was for her wedding she said “In my mind I picture a very sweet, simply, yet romantic wedding and reception.” I think she accomplished everything she envisioned! And the amazing Cassie with Flaire Weddings and Events helped Danielle’s dream become a reality. Plus, the Magnolia Point Golf and Country Club is so pretty that everywhere I looked I was inspired. I’m so excited to share Danielle and Chris’ wedding!

I love this series of images of Danielle and her mom. They share such a close relationship and as Danielle’s mom saw her “become a bride” she got a little emotional. It’s moments like these that make me love what I do!

Chris opened up the dance floor by dancing with both of his daughters. It was such a sweet moment.

I just saw what I would love to do for others, and that is not necessarily being a wedding planner, but capturing rare and precious moments on film would be a real Art to me that would be a blessing, as I love love anything and everything to do with “Love” and people’s happiness, unlike my own life, but all the same I admire your gifts and blessings to be able to do this for others, God bless!! ~~~~Denise Denise Merriman ~~~~~ <3 <3 <3

Rachelle and Eric | Pensacola Wedding Photographer

Rachelle and Eric met in high school and their love only grew from there. He proposed on a horse drawn carriage ride around Central Park on Christmas, and they celebrated afterwards at a restaurant overlooking the Park, dining on food “that we could barely pronounce!” Could these two be any cuter?!

They were married at the Rocky Bayou Country Club in Niceville under sprigs of mistletoe as it rained. It had been raining all day, but Rachelle went with her heart and continued forward with her outdoor wedding. And I am so glad she did! The rain let up just as the processional began. They say rain on your wedding day means good luck. Well, Rachelle and Eric, I think you guys are going to have the BEST luck in the world!:-)

These two were such troopers. It rained…sometimes even what I’d call “poured”….during their first look and all of the photos leading up to the ceremony. Thank you two for trusting me to get out in the weather for these photos!!

I just love Dude’s tux here! To see more photos of this cute furry guy, check out Rachelle and Eric’s engagement session here.

Congratulations! Give Dude a hug for me!

Beautiful pics of a lovely wedding, rainy weather and everything.

What a beautiful wedding! How did her hair stay so gorgeous in the rain?! And a dog in a tux? Too cute!

Ashley Daniell Photography - January 20, 2015 - 2:42 pm

Katherine – I have no clue how Rachelle managed to keep her hair looking good in the rain! But it seriously was pouring on them during the first look! They were such great sports!!
