• Welcome

I'm so excited you made it to my blog! This is where we can truly get to know each other better. I'm a writer by nature and sometimes I think the best way to get to know someone is through their words. Words can connect, move, and inspire people. They are very similar to photographs in that way. So wander around and get to know me better! I hope I can inspire you - just as each one of my clients has inspired me.

Casey and Matt | Southwood Engagement Session

I met up with Casey and Matt in Southwood for their engagement session and everything clicked……the light, the perfect outfits Casey wore, and the couple itself. Casey and Matt are getting married at the Buie Barn in Brunswick, Georgia, this weekend and I can’t wait to see the vintage/bohemian vibe they envisioned come to life.

Polly and Cale | Tallahassee Wedding Photographer

Polly and Cale’s love has been years in the making. They went to high school together in Quincy and their dads have been friends for longer. They said “I Do” in the church that Polly grew up in and where she still teaches Sunday school. The reception was held at the Sawano Club, a private club where Polly and Cale used to attend high school dances. The reception was “classic Quincy” as Polly liked to say, meaning it was open invitation. It felt like the entire town of Quincy came to celebrate Polly and Cale’s marriage. Congratulations!

Polly and her girls got ready at the Quincy Garden Center, which is absolutely beautiful!!

Jason and Maribel | Monticello Barn Wedding

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” – Ephesians 5:31

Jason and Maribel met at their church Bible study and it didn’t take them long before they knew they were supposed to be together. After taking a walk in Cascades Park, Jason read that verse to her, and then he got on one knee and proposed. Jason and Maribel were married under a huge oak tree next to a lake on a family farm in Monticello. In front of a small gathering of family and friends, they said their vows and took communion as husband and wife. It was a beautiful day and I’m so excited for their next steps as a couple. Congratulations!!!
