• Welcome

I'm so excited you made it to my blog! This is where we can truly get to know each other better. I'm a writer by nature and sometimes I think the best way to get to know someone is through their words. Words can connect, move, and inspire people. They are very similar to photographs in that way. So wander around and get to know me better! I hope I can inspire you - just as each one of my clients has inspired me.

Jason and Maribel | Monticello Barn Wedding

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” – Ephesians 5:31

Jason and Maribel met at their church Bible study and it didn’t take them long before they knew they were supposed to be together. After taking a walk in Cascades Park, Jason read that verse to her, and then he got on one knee and proposed. Jason and Maribel were married under a huge oak tree next to a lake on a family farm in Monticello. In front of a small gathering of family and friends, they said their vows and took communion as husband and wife. It was a beautiful day and I’m so excited for their next steps as a couple. Congratulations!!!

Erika and Alex | Lewiswood Farm Wedding

Erika and Alex’s Lewiswood Farm wedding was understated, fun, and beautiful. There were so many personal touches that made it all the more special. For example, all of the deer antlers used in the decor were from deers shot with the family hunting lease. The boutonniere’s were made with bullet casings shot by a friend the week before the wedding. And Alex’s best man built the arbor that they were married under. Thank you for allowing me to be there for your special day. I will always cherish my moments with you both!! Congratulations!

Paige and Adam | Golden Eagle Wedding

Meet Morgan. Morgan and Paige are best friends. Paige was in Morgan’s wedding.

Morgan then became my wedding assistant (LOVE my brides!). But I had to find someone else for Paige’s wedding. Because Morgan was going to be standing next to Paige.

I love these two girls. I photographed both of their weddings and got to know them very well over the years and am very happy to call them my friends!

So that’s the short and dirty story of how I came to photograph Paige and Adam’s wedding at Golden Eagle Country Club. Paige and Adam met in high school and Adam immediately fell in love with Paige’s smile and laugh. Their love hasn’t diminished over the years, but instead it’s gotten stronger. It was very touching to see them finally tie the knot. I just love these two!!
