This post is long overdue. In fact, it’s a year overdue. But better late than never I always say. Back when I was in law school I had the amazing opportunity to intern at the Attorney General’s office in the Economic Crimes division. I met some really wonderful people there. Colleagues who then became friends and who are still my friends, over 10 years later. One of those wonderful colleagues was Eric Tilton. He was the guy in the office with the crude sense of humor that everyone loved. Through Eric I met his wife Marta. Through Marta I got my job at the Senate. And that led to so much more for me in my life. I really owe so much to Eric and Marta! Eric battled liver disease for several years until he finally got his angel wings. My good friend Sandi with Bulldog Strategy Group coordinated a beautiful party at the Southwood Golf Club to celebrate Eric’s life. It was such a privilege to have been a part of Eric’s life.
Eric was a fan of games, so we had foosball, his own video game set up, and backgammon set up for guests to play:
